US Release date announced October 2008

Sony have just announced that they will be releasing the remaining 7 APP expanded edition albums in the US on 27th January 2009. The albums to be released then are: Pyramid, Eve, Turn of a Friendly Card, Vulture Culture, Ammonia Avenue, Stereotomy and Gaudi.


Final 3 Expanded edition album released August 2008

The final three expanded APP albums - EVE, AMMONIA AVENUE and GAUDI will be released on 22nd September 2008. The albums are all remastered with bonus tracks and new sleeve notes. They are now available from the APP website shop.

Vinyl release of Eye in the Sky February 2008

The original Eye in the Sky album is being re-released on vinyl as part of a range of original vinyl 12" re-issues, featuring some of the biggest and most iconic artist albums from the Sony BMG catalogue. Released on the 3rd March 2008 in selected countries world-wide (excluding the US).




Release Schedule Update January 2008

Sony/ BMG have just confimred that the next three expanded APP albums (Pyrmaid, Turn of a Friendly Card and Stereotomy) will be released Internationally on 10th March 2008 (there are no current plans to release these albums in the US).




Eric's New Musical October 2007

Eric's new musical Dancing Shadows has just won 5 Korean Musical Tony Awards. It was nominated for 8 awards competing against 71 other musicals. The awards won include Best Musical, Best Orchestrations, Best Choreography, Best Ensemble and Best Performance by a Supporting Actor.




Release Schedule September Update September 2007

The bonus material for the next 6 albums has proved more difficult and time consuming to search through and compile, partly due to unforeseen personal circumstance. As a result, the release date for the next 6 albums has now been moved to Jan/ March 2008. We would rather delay the releases to get bonus tracks included rather than bringing them out without any extras - we hope you will agree!

Release Schedule May Update May 2007

The release date for the next three expanded edition APP albums (Pyramid, Turn of a Friendly Card and Stereotomy) has been moved to September 2007. This is for the very positive reason that there is such an abundance of bonus material to go through that it has taken longer to compile than had been hoped, as they want to make sure the very best material is used. Thanks for your patience.




Tales of Mystery Now Available to Pre-order April 2007

The new Deluxe Edition of Tales of Mystery and Imagination will be released by Universal on 30th April 2007 in selected countries world-wide. It is a double CD package containing re-mastered versions of both the 1976 original and the 1987 re-mix of the album as well as 8 never before heard bonus tracks. It is now available to pre-order in the APP Website Shop

Expanded Edition Album Details Announced February 2006

We now have details of the bonus material to be included on the first four APP expanded edition re-mastered albums to be released: Tales of Mystery & Imagination, I Robot, Eye in the Sky and Vulture Culture. The Sony/ BMG releases (I Robot, Eye in the Sky and Vulture Culture) will be available to purchase through the website shop from March 2007 and Tales of Mystery (Universal) will be available from April 2007.

Expanded Edition - Pre-Order February 2006

The first three expanded edition albums I Robot, Eye in the Sky and Vulture Culture are now available to pre-order in the Website Shop for dispatch week of 5th March. These albums will be released world-wide from 5th March 2007 onwards, but Vulture Culture will not be available in some countries including the US.

Essential APP Album Launched 29th January 2007

The new triple CD APP compilation (including 47 re-mastered tracks from all 10 APP Albums and a bonus track) is now released in an English language package with a great new album cover. It will be available in limited territories worldwide (the double and single Essential Compilation will be more widely available) and is also available to purchase through the APP website shop.

Alan Parsons nominated for Grammy award December 2006

Alan Parsons and PJ Olsson have been nominated for a GRAMMY Award. The 49th Annual Grammy Awards will air on CBS on February 11, 2007 Alan's new solo album 'A Valid Path' has been nominated for 'Best Surround Sound'




Italian triple CD release 24th November 2006

The Italian triple CD APP compilation is released on 24th November 2006. This contains the same track listing as the Dutch Collection but has slightly different packaging and Italian sleeve notes.
