Well, I'm a big fan of Eric & Alan a long long time and I buyed all 10 expanded albums (I have Freudiana too).
My favorite album is 'Pyramid' and my doubts are about 'What Goes Up', the vocals. I was reading the informations on expanded CD and it seams to me that there are something wrong about 'What Goes Up' credits...David Paton is the vocal, alright but...I think that just in the verses:
What goes up, must come down
What must rise, must fall
And what goes on in your life
Is writing on the wall
.........
What goes up, must come down
What must stand alone?
And what goes on, in your mind
Is turning into stone
...........
Solos
How can you be so sure?
How do you know what the earth will endure?
How can you be so sure
That the wonders you've made in you life
Will be seen
By the millions who'll follow to visit the site
Of your dream?
What goes up, must come down
What goes round, must come round
What's been lost, must be found
Ok, but, my question is who sings the follow verses, the refrain in fact:
If all things must fall
Why build a miracle at all
If all things must pass
Even a miracle won't last
If all things must fall
Why build a miracle at all
If all things must pass
Even a pyramid won't last
Not can be David Paton in that verses...impossible, I think, very diferent voice (!!) ... so, is Colin Blunstone singing?? The voice is a little similar with Eric's voice but I know that he sings just in the 4º album ('Friendly Card'). So, Colin Blunstone sings the refrain or some other musician?
Thanxxxx
Carlos
